The recent trip to Ekiti, Nigeria with Ekiti OBIdients to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of Afe Babalola University was an awesome experience. The people of Ekiti showed their love and enthusiasm all through the week that the team spent there.

The highlight of the trip was the visit to the palace of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe and his council of chiefs. The Ewi was grateful to the appreciation expressed by the Chiefs and thanked them for visiting his palace. He also thanked Afe Babalola (SAN) and his management team for the establishment of their university in Ekiti.

The Chiefs team also gave back to the community through sponsoring the Mecole Hardman Foundation, which seeks to promote youths in the region and open up educational opportunities for those in the area.

The team had a wonderful experience and was grateful for the hospitality given by the people of Ekiti. At the end of the visit, the team expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Patrick Mahomes for his leadership and dedication in improving the community through initiatives such as the #WPMOYChallenge.
