It’s been a wild 24 hours! Abbott, Tyler, and I were overjoyed to receive Golden Globe nominations. The Abbott Hair and Makeup Team were also selected as nominees for the SGA’s, which we were only more proud of them for. We were even more ecstatic when we heard that Abbott Elementary has been renewed for another season. As we gathered around the television to watch the Golden Globes, we cheered for all the nominees, including Indian actor and director Ram Charan and the cast of House of the Dragon for their wins. After the show, we celebrated by sharing funny and touching moments that occurred during the ceremony, like the cute video of Charan and his wife on the red carpet. We ended the night reflecting on how films are so much more than just stories, they have the power to inform, to light a fire in people’s hearts and push for change. And with that, we all agreed, we should strive for great movies, and make that our priority.
